Blockchain analytics firm Elliptic launched Pulse, an AI tool that gives frontline police officers a plain-language summary of any crypto wallet address or transaction hash within seconds, without requiring blockchain expertise, Decrypt reported.
Elliptic raised $120 million this year from backers including Nasdaq and Deutsche Bank, according to Decrypt.
The DeAI angle: AI's use by law enforcement officials with no blockchain expertise offers an example of artificial intelligence making crypto more user-friendly. A caveat is that the general public has become increasingly wary that AI-powered crime-fighting tools could be used for unjustified surveillance efforts.
