Limitless, a prediction-market platform built on the Base blockchain, has unveiled what it describes as the industry's first official Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector, allowing users to research and prepare trades using AI assistants.
The project described the connector as the "first official prediction market MCP," though the setup has become quite common among crypto exchanges, with Coinbase and Binance rolling out their own versions. MCP provides a standard way for AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude and Grok to connect to external tools and data.
According to a Limitless blog post, users can ask an assistant to check markets, compare prices, track down news, analyze trading histories and build an order. The user must confirm before execution.
"Limitless API traders using AI-powered workflows earn up to 5x more on average than users trading through the UI alone," the project said. (DeAI News could not independently confirm the claim.)
The announcement shows how AI tools, when coupled with increasing blockchain speeds and the emergence of prediction markets, are making it easier for traders and bettors to feed their hunger for risk and fast profits.
HOW AI WAS USED IN THE PRODUCTION OF THIS PIECE: I drafted this story in the Hermes desktop app using an OpenAI model and my custom blog-post skill, then used the Distro Publisher MCP connector to file it to DeAI News. I edited the piece using Distro’s built-in story editor and checked the facts against the original sources before publication.
